“ 競技前の“勝負食”という焼き肉も、実は１食に食べる量は多くて３切れ。五輪代表権がかかった昨年１２月の全日本選手権の２週間前。３回転半に行き詰まった真央が初めて「もうできない」と号泣し、姉の舞（２１）らが台湾料理店に連れ出した。「好きな物を食べていいよ」。舞の言葉に真央が選んだのはそんなときでもおかゆとスープ、野菜いためだけ。無邪気な笑顔の陰に、とてつもない努力と、犠牲にしてきた１９歳の普通の幸せがある。
